Description

Ken Watanabe is a star in his native Japan where he appeared in a popular serial as a samurai hero. He studied at the National Theatre Company in England. Watanabe broke through worldwide in 2003 when he shined opposite Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai for which he garnered a Best Supporting Actor nomination. He follows up with Batman Begins and Memoirs of a Geisha.
