Description
Laurence Fishburne learned his first lesson about filmmaking when he lied about his age in order to secure a role in 1979's Apocalypse Now. With some very strong performances in the '90s -- including his Best Actor-nominated turn in What's Love Got to Do with It? -- Fishburne has appeared in a variety of different roles. His appearance in The Matrix helped the movie earn over $150 million at the box office.
