Description
Director Antoine Fuqua documents a historical and geographical journey through the rhythms of blues music. The film highlights the roots of blues in Africa through the Mississippi Delta and into the big cities of Memphis and Chicago. The film features a host of musicians including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown, Aerosmith, Bonnie Raitt, and Natalie Cole. The documentary screened at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
