Description

The classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale The Little Mermaid will be turned into a live-action film directed by Joe Wright. A mermaid falls in love with a human prince she saves at sea. She decides to give up her voice in exchange for legs so she can live on land. Abi Morgan scripts for Working Title Films.
