Description
Monsoon Wedding is the latest from director Mira Nair, who is well known for films like Mississippi Masala and Salaam Bombay. The drama and comedy unfolds in the four days leading up to a wedding. Nair's assistant Sabrina Dhawan wrote the story and the film features Indian film stars Naseeruddin Shah, Lillete Dubay, Shefali Shetty, and Kamini Khanna. USA Films will distribute the film which won the top prize at the 2001 Venice Festival.
