Description
Considering his performance in the 1982's Diner, Mickey Rourke had a screen presence that promised a future as a multi-faceted leading man. Throughout the '80s, Rourke's continued to act in films like Rumblefish and The Pope of Greenwich Village. It was 1986's Nine 1/2 Weeks that propelled him into international stardom though. Rourke followed with 1987's equally steamy Angel Heart and 1990's Wild Orchid. Throughout the rest of the '90s, Rourke has taken increasingly lesser roles.
