Description
The beloved thriller Mystic River by mystery writer Dennis Lehane is adapted for the big screen by Clint Eastwood. The story details three friends Dave Boyle, Sean Devine, and Jimmy Marcus who lose touch with each other after Dave was kidnapped for four days during their youth. Never quite addressing the bizarre event, the boys grow into men and move on with their adult lives. Tragedy strikes in the form of murder when Jimmy Marcus' daughter gets killed. The estranged friends find their lives intertwined once again as Sean Devine is the lead cop in the murder investigation and Dave Boyle as a suspect. Audiences can expect an emotional and mental roller coaster with this story as the drama plays out in a variety of different ways.
