Description

Born in South Africa, Neill Blomkamp began his career as a 3D animator before moving on to direct commercials and shorts. He was attached to direct Halo before the project stalled. Blomkamp made his feature debut with the acclaimed District 9, which was expanded from his short "Alive in Joburg". Blomkamp next directs another original sci-fi story Elysium.
