Description

LaBute made a name for himself in 1997 with the release of In the Company of Men, which he wrote and directed. The film was greeted with praise but also felt heavy criticism for its heavy dose of misogyny. LaBute's follow-up film was another biting, dark drama-comedy called Your Friends and Neighbors. His latest efforts include Nurse Betty and The Shape of Things.
