Description

Naomi Watts broke out with her role in David Lynch's acclaimed film Mulholland Drive. Her father is Peter Watts, the sound engineer for Pink Floyd. Born in England in 1968, Watts moved to Australia when she was a teenager. There she became best friends with Nicole Kidman, with whom she co-starred in 1991's Flirting. Watts appeared in a string of forgettable films, including the 1995 flop Tank Girl. In 2002, Watts starred in the lead role in The Ring.
