Description
John Carter of Mars is based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs' series of the same name. John Carter is a Civil War vet who is transported to planet Mars. On Mars, Carter encounters an advanced civilization, fights ugly green monsters, and falls in love. The first three of 11 books are titled Princess of Mars, The Warlord of Mars, and The Gods of Mars.
