Description
Brazilian director Walter Salles will take on the famed Jack Kerouac book On the Road. The story follows a beat writer as he recounts his wild journeys across the U.S. through his alter ego Sal Paradise. The stream of consciousness writing influenced a generation of writers and gave rise to the Beat movement. The film is produced by Francis Ford Coppola�s American Zoetrope, which has held the rights of the book since 1979. Salles will adapt the script with his partner Jose Rivera.
