Description
Based on a true story, this is the comedic telling of a medical student whose unconventional approach to his vocation unnerves the health care establishment but is virtually miraculous with patients. Williams teams with director Tom Shadyac and writer Steve Oedekerk ("The Nutty Professor," "Ace Ventura:When Nature Calls"). Shadyac's only three previous films, "Liar Liar," "The Nutty Professor" and "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," have an average US gross of $127 million.
