Based on Meg Cabot's novel, Princess Diaries revolves around a nerdy 16-year-old female by the name of Mia living a typical teenagers life in New York City. But when a death occurs in a small European country to the matriarch of the throne, a group of people seek out to Mia, the only living heir to the kingdom. Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) directs the comedy film starring Anne Hathaway as Mia. Julie Andrews and Hector Elizondo secure the task of transforming Mia into a princess. Heather Matazzaro and singer Mandy Moore co-star in the Walt Disney film.
