It pays to practice! Cantor Exchange will let you trade Futures Contracts in upcoming film releases using real dollars.
Start tuning your skills now by trading our CX Derivatives with your H$. The virtual profits you make here will prepare you to make real profits when CX launches!
The value of each CX Derivative reflects how much money Traders think the film will make at the box office with each $1 million earned domestically equal to H$1. They are traded just like MovieStocks, except a CX Derivative will NOT halt trading on its opening date in wide release or adjust in price based on estimated weekend box office. CX Derivatives will be cashed out and removed from the Exchange four weeks after they have been in wide release, or twelve weeks of limited release.
Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is adapted from the first in a fantasy series by Rick Riordan. The Greek mythical character Perseus, who is Poseidon's son, is recast as a 12-year-old American boy named Percy. He is a on a quest to rescue his kidnapped mother, find Zeus' stolen lightning bolt, and prevent a civil war brewing between the Greek Gods. Percy must also deal with the conventions of contemporary cultures to fulfill his quest. Chris Columbus directs from Joe Stillman's adapted script.
