The value of each CX Derivative reflects how much money Traders think the film will make at the box office with each $1 million earned domestically equal to H$1. They are traded just like MovieStocks, except a CX Derivative will NOT halt trading on its opening date in wide release or adjust in price based on estimated weekend box office. CX Derivatives will be cashed out and removed from the Exchange four weeks after they have been in wide release, or twelve weeks of limited release.
New Line gets in on the animation game with Planet 51. A human astronaut crash lands on a distant planet where he befriends a young alien and tries to figure out how to get back to earth. The film is produced by Spain's Ilion Animation Studios. Jorge Blanco directs with a script from Joe Stillman.
