Description

The coming-of-age drama Pure Life is set in 1987. Elle Fanning plays a 13 years old girl who desperately wants a romance like those in the John Hughes movies. She finds a bad boy she deems worthy of taking her virginity. Vera Farmiga plays her hard-working, but short-tempered mother. Van Fischer directs from a screenplay by Melora Donoghue.
