Description

Helen Mirren portrays Queen Elizabeth II in the drama The Queen. The English film takes a look at how the Monarch handled the tragic death of Princess Diana and her relationship with Prime Minister Tony Blair. The drama reveals the inner workings of the British government and the Monarchy. Michael Sheen plays Blair while James Cromwell also co-stars. Stephen Frears directs with a screenplay by Peter Morgan.
