Description
Richard Gere parlayed his stage acting into a film career career with his first starring role in the 1977's Looking for Mr. Goodbar. Gere furthered his career with such notable films as American Gigolo and An Officer and a Gentleman. After a drought in the '80s, Gere rebounded with 1990's Pretty Woman.
