The Australian born Rachel Griffiths first turned heads as Rhonda in the 1994 film Muriel�s Wedding. Born in 1968 in Newcastle, Australia, Griffiths attended a Girls Catholic College where she studied ballet.Griffiths delivered a strong, and Oscar nominated, performance in Hilary and Jackie, which she co-starred with Emily Watson.
