Description
Taking a cue from past films that blended live-action human characters with animated imagery, notably Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Mary Poppins (1964) and Song of the South (1946), The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle opens June 30th with a wonderful cast that includes Robert De Niro, Rene Russo and Jason Alexander. Based on Jay Ward’s classic cartoon, the plot of the movie adaptation follows Boris (Alexander) and Natasha (Russo) who manage to crossover into reality and team up with Fearless Leader (De Niro), an evil criminal turned media mogul with devious plans in store. Rocky and Bullwinkle are called into action and must stop the evil trio before it’s too late.
