The Scorpion King is a prequel to The Mummy franchise chronicling the exploits of a man rising from peasant to Pharoah. The Scorpion King character was introduced in The Mummy Returns played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Michael Clarke Duncan and Kelly Hu co-star. Chuck Russell (The Mask) directs. The director of the previous Mummy films Stephen Sommers, will produce the film with James Jacks, Linda McMahon, Vince McMahon, and Sean Daniel.
