Description
Stargate 2 had appeared on the MGM slate for the year 2002. It is unclear if the sequel will feature the cast of the 1994 original film starring Kurt Russell and James Spader. The success of the film spawned the TV series Stargate SG-1, began in 1997 and starring Richard Dean Anderson. Although they did not held on to the rights to Stargate, creators Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich could be enticed back to the sequel.
