Description
Scott Glenn came to acting by way of writing. Seeking out acting classes in order to help with writing dialogue, Glenn soon got side-tracked by his acting talent. After moving to Los Angeles and appearing in a number of films beginning in the '70s, Glenn's big break came in 1980 when he took the role opposite John Travolta in the legendary Urban Cowboy. Since gaining movie star status, Glenn has made the interesting decision of appearing in both big budget, Hollywood features such as Backdraft and The Right Stuff, and also in small independent films. Just as likely to have a significant part in a film like Silence of the Lambs as a cameo as himself in The Player, Glenn has taken a number of different roles in many different films, proving his depth, range, and commitment to acting.
