Description

Although Stranglehold the videogame was a sequel to the John Woo film Hard Boiled, Stranglehold the film adaptation will act as a prequel. A police inspector wages war against the Triad in Hong Kong and Russian mobsters in Chicago. Chow Yun-fat will not reprise his role as Tequila. Stephen Fung will direct from a script by Jeremy Passmore and Andre Fabrizi.
