William Steig's picture book is adapted for the big screen in the movie Shrek. Shrek is an ugly, green ogre looking for his soulmate, an equally nasty-looking creature. However, he scares everyone he meets along the way.

Mike Myers replaces the late Chris Farley as the voice of Shrek. Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, John Lithgow, and Linda Hunt also lend their voices for the latest from DreamWorks and PDI, the folks behind Antz.
