Robert De Niro and Eddie Murphy team up in the buddy comedy Showtime. De Niro plays a no-nonsense cop who reluctantly joins a flamboyant rookie, played by Murphy, to star in a reality-based television show created in hopes of promoting a better image for the police department. Director Tom Dey (Shanghai Noon) is behind the helm of the Warner Bros. film. Will Smith is one of the producers on the project along with Jorge Saralegui.
