Description
Snipes is promising to be an intense production that covers the underworld of rap and hip-hop featuring its newest sensation Nelly in a starring role. The story details a teenager named Snipes witnesses a kidnapping/murder. The victim turns out to be an up-and-coming rapper named Prolifik (Nelly). The young Snipes gets sucked into the rap underworld. Appearing in cameo roles will be Fat Joe, Kool Moe Dee, and Schooly D.
Rich Murray of video music director fame will make a directorial debut as well as helping produce the picture penned by Rob Wiser. Sam Jones, a newcomer will also be featured in the project. Ruffnation Films brings this film to the big screen. Nelly was chosen for his newfound fame in the music world. The St. Louis rapper's debut album Country Grammar has already topped the Billboard 200 chart. The artist can only add to his repetoire by acting.
