Description
Director Simon West has made the crossover from commercial director to Hollywood A-list director in just a few short years. West was best known for the Budweiser frogs ad -- until, that is, his feature film debut Con Air. The Nicolas Cage action flick went on to gross over $100 million domestically while West's third project The General's Daughter, the John Travolta military murder intrigue, also went on to top $100 million domestically. Such commercial successes have made West, who began his career as an 18-year-old film editor for the BBC film department, a hot commodity.
