Description
Thora Birch began her career as a child actress, landing a recurring role on the 1988 TV show, Day by Day. Although that show only lasted for one season, Birch landed her second series in 1990, appearing in a TV adaptation of the Steve Martin film, Parenthood. In 1992, Birch broke into film with a role as Jack Ryan's daughter in Patriot Games, reprising that role in 1994's Clear and Present Danger. More recently, Birch has landed roles in 1999's American Beauty, as well as in 1999's Anywhere But Here.
