The value of each CX Derivative reflects how much money Traders think the film will make at the box office with each $1 million earned domestically equal to H$1. They are traded just like MovieStocks, except a CX Derivative will NOT halt trading on its opening date in wide release or adjust in price based on estimated weekend box office. CX Derivatives will be cashed out and removed from the Exchange four weeks after they have been in wide release, or twelve weeks of limited release.
The supernatural thriller The Box stars Cameron Diaz as a young woman who receives a square device. She is told that different things will happen depending on what button she presses. The device leads her on a dangerous and mysterious path. Director Richard Kelly adapted the script from a short story by Richard Matheson.
