Description

The teen drama Thirteen is directed by Katherine Hardwicke who co-wrote the film with 13-year-old Nikki Reed. The Sundance entry also features Evan Rachel Wood, Holly Hunter, and Kip Pardue. Based on Reed's own struggles, the film shows the life of a Los Angeles teenager who grows up amid pressures of sex, drugs and basic recklessness.
