A young police officer is paired with an experienced older cop within an undercover narcotics unit at the L.A.P.D.'s infamous Rampart Division. The rookie soon learns that although his street-wise mentor gets the job done, he's not exactly a good role model. The Rampart Division and its anti-gang unit, C.R.A.S.H., became infamous for the worst corruption scandal in L.A.P.D. history.
Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke star in the roles of mentor cop and rookie cop. Antoine Fuqua directs from David Ayer's screenplay for Warner Bros.
