Description
Terence Stamp has been appearing in feature films since the early 1960s. His most noteworthy performance was in 1962's Billy Budd, in which Stamp played the title role. Although the part was a lead, Stamp received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Stamp was also featured in Superman II, as the memorable General Zod, and Wall Street. In 1994, Stamp was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as Bernadette, the transgender road tripper in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
