Description
William H. Macy spent the better part of the '80s in a variety of supporting roles on television and film. In 1994, Macy received his big break with a reoccuring role as Dr. David Morgenstern on the hit T.V. show, ER. In 1996, Macy starred in the Coen brothers' opus, Fargo. As Jerry Lundegaard, a mild-mannered car dealer who plots to kidnap his wife, Macy received critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination. Since his breakthrough perfomance in Fargo, Macy has received starring roles in such movies as Pleasantville , Boogie Nights, Magnolia and Jurassic Park III .
