Description
William Shatner has done it all in his career. Though whether he likes it or not, the world will forever equate him as James T. Kirk on Star Trek. He portrayed the fearless captain of the Enterprise on the 1960s TV series, then returned for the Star Trek feature films beginning with the first in 1979. During the 1980s, Shatner also starred as the title character in the TV series T.J. Hooker. Shatner's career has endured despite (perhaps because of) his much maligned acting style.
Moving into the 1990s, Shatner has been willing to poke fun at his own persona with roles in Trekkies and Free Enterprise as well as being a spokeperson for Priceline.com. Shatner brings his larger-than-life personality to 2000's Miss Congeniality as well as in 2001's Osmosis Jones.
