Description
Based on Anita Shreve's best-selling novel, The Weight of the Water follows two couples who travel to a Scandinavian island by boat, and who investigate a murder that happened one century earlier. The film stars Sean Penn, Sarah Polley, Elizabeth Hurley and Vinessa Shaw, and is directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who last directed 1995's Strange Days.
