A round-up of the current episode counts.
RazorHawk, December 1, 2007

With the writer's strike in full effect, viewers have many questions about how many new episodes of their favorite shows they will be able to see this season. Most of Hollywood was aware that a strike was coming and different shows took different strategies to survive the season. Some stockpiled scripts to be produced during the strike while some just cut their season short. Worried about possible strikes, the producers of Heroes took to a new format of splitting the year into two "mini seasons".

ABC stockpiled the most scripts before the strike.

Carpoolers (CARPOL): 6 episodes have aired so far and 7 are still left.

Cavemen (CAVEMN): Same as Carpoolers, 6 episodes have been aired so far and 7 are still scheduled to be shown.

Big Shots (BIGSHT): So far, 8 episodes have been aired and episode #8 is already scheduled for a repeat. 13 episodes were originally ordered for this show, however, the network didn't stockpile any more scripts. Most are predicting series cancellation due to low ratings + writer's strike (according to TVseriesfinale.com).

Dirty Sexy Money (DRTSXM): 8 episodes have aired, 3 more left to be shown. Dirty Sexy Money has been picked up for the full season.

Cashmere Mafia (CASHMF): Yet to premiere, the show has 7 episodes for the season.

Pushing Daisies (PUSHDS): 7 episodes have aired with 2 more scheduled.

Private Practice (PRVPRC): 8 episodes have been shown so far and 1 more will air on Dec 5th. According to IMdB.com and fansites, there are no more scripts left.

Samantha Who? (SAMWHO):7 episodes shown, 5 left on the schedule.

CBS

The Big Bang Theory (BIGBNG): 8 episodes were made and all 8 have been shown.

Cane (CANETV): 10 episodes have aired so far and there are 3 more left.

Kid Nation (KIDNAT): 10 out of 13 total episodes have aired so far.

Moonlight (MONLIT): 9 episodes have aired to date with 2 or possibly 3 more yet to be shown.

FOX

Back to You (BACKTU): 7 episodes have been shown and 2 more still left.

Nashville (NASHVL): 2 episodes were shown before the series was cancelled.

K-Ville (KVILLE): 7 episodes have shown with 3 more scheduled.

Kitchen Nightmares (KITNTM): 9 episodes aired with #10 scheduled for December 5.

CW

Aliens in America (ALINAM): 9 episodes have been aired and there are 8 more scheduled. With 17 episodes, Aliens In America is the only new TV series to have close to a whole season according to TV Guide.com.

Reaper (REAPER): 9 episodes of Reaper have been shown already. There is 1 still left to be shown (according to official CW website). Reaper will have 10 episodes this season.

Gossip Girl (GOSIPG): 8 episodes have been aired and 5 more are scheduled.

Life is Wild (LIFWLD): The official CW website lists 8 episodes for this show.

NBC

Chuck (CHUCKT): 10 episodes have aired so far this season and there are 3 more left. Chuck was given a greenlight for a full season before the writers strike.

Bionic Woman (BIONIC): 7 episodes have aired so far this season and there is 1 more left.

Life (LIFETV): 8 episodes have aired with 3 more episodes scheduled. Like Chuck, Life was given a greenlight for a full season before the writers strike.

Journeyman (JURNYM): 12 episodes have been produced, however according to the show's creator, NBC plans only to show 11 episodes. The twelfth episode (which is the series finale) may only appear on the DVD.

Episode counts are as of 11/28/07. TV Guide.com, IMdB.com and network sites were used to compile the list. Hopefully the strike will be resolved soon so we can all get back to our favorite shows in full seasons.
