Fox has unleashed the official full-length trailer for the thriller Widows [WIDOW] adapted from a British TV series. Viola Davis [VDAVI], Michelle Rodriguez [MRODR], Elizabeth Debicki [EDEBI] and Cynthia Erivo star as four women whose husbands died engaging in criminal activities. Box Score: The Meg devours mega box office

The dog days of summer still had plenty of bite as The Meg [MEG] chomped down an estimated $44.5 million to top the weekend box office.  The audience was split 30% males over 25, 26% females over 25, 22% females under 25, and 21% males under 25.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout [MISS6] was dethroned to second at $20.0 milion.  The spy actioner has earned nearly $162.0 million.

Christopher Robin [WINPO] dropped 49% in its second weekend to $12.4 million, bringing its total to $50.0 million.
