TVStocks are back for the 2010-11 season.

With the arrival of the new Fall Season on television in September, the Television Stock Exchange™ will once again offer TVStocks® for the new network series.  The price of each TVStock is based on the number of original episodes that aired during the 2010-11 season. Which will get cancelled and which will get picked up for a full season? Trade the TVStocks on the Television Stock Exchange and profit from your prediction!

The first network up is The CW, which debuts two brand-new series next week.

Hellcats [HELCAT] premieres Wednesday, Sep 8 at 9/8c.

Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka [ALMIC]), a law student at Lancer University, discovers that her scholarship has been cancelled and her well-meaning but irresponsible mother, Wanda (Gail O'Grady) has neglected to inform her. Broke and out of options, Marti realizes the only way she can stay in school is to win a place on the Hellcats – Lancer's legendary cheer squad – and the scholarship that comes with it. Despite a confrontation with the Hellcats peppy team captain, Savannah (Ashley Tisdale [ATISD]), Marti wins over coach Vanessa Lodge (Sharon Leal), makes the squad and is thrust into a competitive world unlike anything she has ever known. With her best friend Dan (Matt Barr) by her side, Marti navigates her new world as a cheerleader and Savannah's new roommate, while trying to avoid any interaction with squad member Alice Verdura (Heather Hemmens), who is instantly jealous when she realizes that Marti has caught the eye of Alice's ex-boyfriend Lewis Flynn (Robbie Jones).

Nikita [NIKITA] premieres Thursday, Sep 9 at 9/8c.

When she was a deeply troubled teenager, Nikita (Maggie Q [MQUIG]) was rescued from death row by a secret U.S. agency known only as Division, who trained her as a spy and assassin. Nikita was eventually betrayed by the only people she thought she could trust. Now, after three years in hiding, Nikita is seeking retribution and making it clear to her former boss, Percy (Xander Berkeley) and her former friends Michael (Shane West [SHWES]) and Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford [ASTAN]) that she will stop at nothing to expose and destroy their covert operation. Division continues to recruit and train other young people, among them Jaden (Tiffany Hines) and Thom (Ashton Holmes [AHOLM]), erasing all evidence of their former lives and turning them into cold and efficient killers. One of these new recruits, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) is a beautiful girl with a violent past and a story not so different from Nikita's. The recruits all spend part of their training with Amanda (Melinda Clarke, "The O.C."), a master manipulator who can turn any ugly duckling into a swan and any bleeding heart into a killer.

IPOs will continue next Monday on September 6th with the new TV series from CBS.  TVStocks for the new NBC series will begin trading on Tuesday, September 7th, while those for ABC get their day on Thursday, September 9th.  Finally, TVStocks for the new fall shows on Fox will IPO on Friday, September 10th.
