Well... kitmoro is obviously enthousiastic about this film... my take is more negative

this idea of updating all Disney kiddiefare of long ago into the laps of todays auds ( children and 60 plus i guess ) had arrived at giving a 'darkish' director like Tim Burton a shot at dumbo... and why not bambi and fantasia 3 after that. Or shorts like Pedro the bull .... pffff if Burton would have directed Pedro ... Well thats another story. Fairytales like snowhite, hans and gretel, cinderella etc are strongly grounded in folklore... their appeal is imho timeless. The same Goes for literature ( Alice , oliver twist , Pinokkio ) but the Disney corporations idea that everything the studio has ever produced is golden material  for every future generation is ridiculous.  Bring on still another version of flubber, rescuers..., davey crocket ???? ) and to hand it over to Tim Burton is asking for adultisation ( sic ) where it is questionable. Well thats my two cents.

also the cast attached to this DUMBO is a bit mwaaaahhhh ( again IMHO )
