Guillermo del Toro, who told me he is ‘eating, drinking and thinking philosophically’ about four projects, including a film of Roald Dahl’s The Witches and a new look at Pinocchio. ‘I have given myself until September to decide, then I will pick one of the four and prepare to make it.’
