Aren't that many what? SW fans? or SW fans boycotting the movie? of all the fans i know, 99% are pissed off. And i know hundreds.
I know people in real life, not just by social media, through all my life, some of them are long time friends. They hate the direction KK is heading.
And by social media, i know hundreds of people, all collectors (in Topps digial cards forums just to name one) and you can clearly feel a disturbance in the force...
Those are die hard fans, people spending real money on daily basis.
I'm going to give you an example: there's a regular set that comes for every movie, called Modernography. The average card count for that set in The Force Awakens was above 8000.
For Solo, is just around 1000.
