But I can't call "Captain Marvel" the biggest thing out there when "Wonder Woman" made like 50 million less (opening weekend) and looks to "still" beat CM on the domestic side.
Oh boy you must be running out of yarn to spin. First off, by the objective standard (box office), CM is indeed “the biggest thing out there” so far this year.
You then introduce WW to that discussion. So if we are to look at the years 2017-2019, no one would argue that WW was “the biggest thing out there” in that time frame. There were 5 films that made more domestic than WW and CM in that time frame, domestic. Even more if you count international.
Anyone who was calling WW or CM “the biggest thing out there” in regards to their respective box office seasons, they are technically correct. Anyone calling those films “the biggest thing out there” between 2017-2019 has no idea what they are talking about.
