Variety: Deloitte Survey of 1100 US Consumers (in October?). Over half would not be comfortable seeing a film in a movie theatre in 6 months

71% has said they would not in a month (which is now moot, with how delayed the results are, but presumably has not improved)

Yea...only 18% have seen a film in a theater since the pandemic began...even more have paid PVOD at 22% with 90% satisfaction

also 42% prefer to see new releases at home, only 35% prefer in the theater. The rest no preference.

I agree, the seats at about 50% of theaters just aren't that comfortable. But that doesn't stop me from seeing the movie. . .

For example, I'm looking at an NRG poll from 2019 saying 61% of those surveyed would rather see a film on the big screen than at home.
