Even two years ago there were only about 3 dozen film prints on average struck for wide releases and only by some studios
Some directors do have it in their contract to have *a* 35mm film print struck (obviously Tarantino has prints of all his titles, though Once Upon A Time In Hollywood there are very few) and I'd imagine he'll get a few of those. WB was doing 35mm and 70mm prints but now that CNOLA's future at WB is murky at best, don't see them continuing the make filmmakers happy route.
