Options are short term investment opportunities based around a specific event. Typically options are released opening weekend of a particular MovieStock. This form of speculation takes the form of "calls" and "puts" and last only for opening weekend.
Call
A call option is the opposite of a put option. A call speculates that the related MovieStock will have a higher box office take for its opening weekend than the strike price. A $10 call for Dick has a strike price of $10, and will delist at zero if the movie does not make $10 million or more during opening weekend. If the film makes more than $10 million it will cash out at a price determined by the following formula: (Actual Box Office - Strike Price). For Example if the film made $10 million the call would cash out at H$5.00 (H$10 - H$10).
