Warren Beatty is in early talks to star in The Duke of Deception, the coming of age autobiography of author Geoffrey Wolff. Geoffrey's younger brother is Tobias Wolff, who's own memoir This Boy's Life was made into a movie starring Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. Director Steve Zaillian has made his mark adapting from books some of Hollywood's most high-profile movies (Schindler's List, Clear and Present Danger, Hannibal). Zaillian also adapted and directed Searching for Bobby Fischer and A Civil Action. The film will be produced by veteran producer Scott Rudin
Beatty's acting and directing career spans across an impressive four decades. The actor had plans to run for office this last election year, but stayed out of the race and home with the family. The veteran actor, last seen in 1998's Bullworth, will next appear Town and Country.
