Philip Seymour Hoffman brings to life the writer Truman Capote in the biographical drama Capote. While researching for his book In Cold Blood, Truman Capote formed a strong bond with the two murderers of a family of four in 1959. Bennett Miller makes his directorial debut on the Sony Pictures Classics release. Dan Futterman adapted the screenplay from a Capote biography by Gerald Clarke.
