Russell Crowe stars in the true life story of Depression-era boxer Jim Braddock, nicknamed the Cinderella Man. The film reunites Crowe with director Ron Howard, producer Brian Grazer and screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, all from 2001's A Beautiful Mind. Universal will have to campaign hard to overcome this film's early summer release date and weak box office returns.
